- Master Degree in Chemistry at the "University of Genoa", on the 15th of December 1994, with the mark of 110/110 "cum laude".
- Ph.D. (1995-1998), in "Chemistry for Engineering" at the "Institute of Chemistry", Faculty of Engineering, University of Genoa (tutor Prof. V. Lorenzelli). Thesis title: "Surface acidity in environmental and heterogeneous catalysis: study of the mechanisms". Topics: acid catalysis over zeolites and metal oxides, surface characterisation of catalysts using IR spectroscopy and study of industrial heterogeneous catalysed reactions used in processes for petrochemistry, refinery and DeNOx . Reporters were Proff. V. Lorenzelli, G. Busca.
- "Suitability" to work as a Chemist after a "National Contest" at the University of Genoa in the Session of April 1995.
- Staff member since 21st August 1998 of the CEZIRENCAT TMR Network. In particular Post-doctoral student in the "Laboratoire de Spectrochimie et Catalyse", ISMRA/CNRS, Université de Caen (France), (Director: Prof. J.P. Gilson, CNRS Director : Dr. J.C. Topics: catalytic activity tests on laboratory reactors and construction of catalytic line for MTBE synthesise from isobutene and methanol over HY zeolite: kinetics study.
