- Master Degree in Pharmacy at Genoa University, on the 4th of November 1993, with the mark of 110/110.
- Ph.D. (1993-1997) at Genoa University, "Chemistry for Engineering" School, Institute of Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering (tutor Prof. V. Lorenzelli). Degree thesis about: "Active sites and mechanism for light hydrocarbons conversion over transition metal oxide catalysts"
- Since April 1998: Post-doctoral student at the Institute of Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering, University of Genoa, Genoa, Italy. Study on hydrocarbons and VOCs (including halogenated compounds) catalytic oxidation and combustion.
